Garioch Rugby Football Club will mark a big weekend for the club on Saturday, as they celebrate the 25th anniversary of their clubhouse in Inverurie.
And the club are planning to mark the anniversary with a series of events this Saturday at Kellands Park.
There will be a Fun Day from 10.30am to 12 noon featuring a Summer Fair for P1-P7 kids at the normal training time of 10.30am til 12pm. There will be a variety of stalls for the kids to enjoy as well as bouncy castles.
Following at 12pm the Gariochatrics team will be playing a game of touch rugby against the S1-S2 team. Watch out for the different coloured shorts which indicate the condition of the senior players!
Girls V Boys will take place from 1.30pm to 3pm when the Garioch Quines, the up and coming ladies team, will be having a ‘friendly’ match against the U15/16’s team.
At 3pm there will be Garioch RFC’s first home match of the season against Lochaber, come along and cheer on the home team in what should be an exciting game of rugby.
There will also be a barbecue from 12 noon featuring local butcher Davidsons delicious burgers.
