AS part of the national RBS RugbyForce event Garioch RFC are holding an open day at Kellands Park on Saturday, August 11.
The day starts at 10am and there will be stalls, games, a barbecue and rugby demonstrations throughout.
Rugby is a game for all ages, shapes, sizes and abilities and the national initiative is to increase the exposure and the attraction of the clubs, the game and the sport in general.
Its open to everyone to find out about Rugby in the Garioch and there will be loads of information available for those who want to know more as a player, coach, supporter, volunteer or just through general interest.
Garioch Rugby Football Club serves Inverurie, Oldmeldrum, Kemnay, Kintore and Kinellar and is located at Kellands Park, Inverurie. The Club are ideally positioned to serve rural Aberdeenshire
Garioch RFC boast two full size well drained pitches, a full suite of changing rooms for four teams located beside the pitches, a separate well floodlit training area, clubhouse attached to the changing rooms, a large youth section of all age groups, free schools coaching for four academies and 240 local primary schools and a bunch of backroom staff committed to rugby in the Garioch.
