The girls were up against some tough competition from some of the best clubs in England and Scotland. 19 gymnasts who train at the Garioch Community Centre in Inverurie travelled south with coaches Trish Swan, Jen Swan and Janine Robertson and judges Cathy Osborne and Denise Redfern.

In addition to the usual medals on offer the Pink Ladies Competition presents an Artistry Award, this is presented to the gymnast with the best presented floor routine, beautiful dance which is in perfect harmony with the music.
