A solo exhibition by artist Alan Hayman opens at Tolquhon Gallery this Sunday (September 4).
The artist has lived in some of the most remote parts of Scotland, and he loves painting wild and rugged places and their wildlife.
Following a hugely successful exhibition in 2014, Alan Hayman returns to Tolquhon with more than 50 new paintings.
Born in Montrose, as a young boy Alan was fascinated by the birdlife on the mud flats of Montrose Basin.
He used to watch the birds for hours and enjoyed drawing and painting them.
He said: ”Like all small children I loved to draw and paint and I just never stopped.”
The exhibition will run until September 27.
