An Aberdeen venue are set to welcome one of the best comedians in the UK next year.

Funnyman, Al Murray will be performing for the North-east crowds next spring at the city’s Music Hall.

Al’s new show - One Man, One Guvnor – arrives in Aberdeen on Thursday, March 19, 2015.

Aberdeen Performing Arts (APA) confirmed that another top comedian will be making his way to the city in the same month.

As part of a UK tour, Milton Jones will perform his new show - Temple of Daft on Monday, March 4, 2015,

APA press manager Joyce Summers said: “The Music Hall is such a popular venue on the stand-up touring circuit that you don’t need to wait ages for a great comedian to come along – but it is a bonus when two arrive at once.

“And, to be honest, they don’t come much funnier or more popular than Al and Milton, so we expect tickets to be flying out the Box Office when they go on sale on Friday.”

Viewers as well as critics have praised the British Comedy Award Winning series Al Murray’s Happy Hour which includes his no nonsense treatment over his celebrity guests.

Other fans may prefer Al’s sitcom Time Gentlemen Please or Al Murray’s Multiple Personality Disorder.

The O2 Arena has been jam-packed after his sell-out stand up tours.

Al has also lifted the Perrier Award and secured Olivier Award nominations for his sell-out West End performances.

Milton’s performance will include his trademark gags - which can be as attention-grabbing as his brightly coloured shirts.

Perhaps most known for his starring role in Mock the Week and luanching his most recent of 11 radio series, Thanks a Lot Milton Jones! on BBC Radio 4. Milton has also appeared in Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo and Dave’s One Night Stand.

Tickets for both shows are available to buy now online at aberdeenperformingarts.com, by calling 01224 641122 and at Aberdeen Box Office at the Music Hall and His Majesty’s Theatre.
