A Rothienorman store will hold a Christmas open event for shoppers to pick up the perfect gift while raising funds for charity.

Elemental Crystals, which sells a range of holistic crystals and stones, is hosting the free event on Thursday, November 24, from 12 noon until 8pm.

Members of the public will have the opportunity to sample the firm’s extensive range of products and learn about their qualities.

There will also be mince pies, mulled wine, various other refreshments and a prize raffle.

Money raised at the event will be donated to Befriend a Child, a charity which provides support for children growing up in difficult circumstances across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Joss Rushton, owner of Elemental Crystals, said: “I’m delighted to announce details of the Christmas open event taking place in our store.

“It promises to be a fantastic occasion where the public can drop by and view our products, choose a gift for a friend or a loved one as well as help to raise funds for a worthwhile North East charity.”

Elemental Crystals sells a range of holistic crystals and stones each of which are said to connect with the energy within a person’s body to provide remedies for ailments including fatigue, lack of concentration, anixiety, and stress.

The store also stocks small tumblestones, fossils, incense and items of jewellery handmade in Cambodia featuring some of the shop’s individual crystals.

A 20% discount will be given on products, excluding artwork, throughout the Christmas open day.
