COLONY Park played host to a recent round of the “4 v 4” Football Festivals, where upwards of 50 teams from a wide range of clubs take part under the SFA’s “4 v 4 Initiative”

Last Sunday the teams took part on 25 pitches with no referees, no whistles and no one keeping score, only a horn to signify kick-off and end of play.

The action was fast and furious and great fun to watch, and with no referees keep the games flowing.

Thanks goes to the Colony coaches who set up the pitches and helped out on the day, and also to the Garioch Sports Centre who hosted the event. The festivals move on to Ellon next month, after a break of a few weeks.
