Curves, the North Street fitness club for women are looking for food donations of non-perishable food items such as tea, coffee, biscuits, etc as part of a food-drive for the local charity, Teen challenge, North east Scotland.
The Inverurie Co-op has donated a trolley which will be placed in-store as a drop-off point for the food items which Curves will then pass to Teen Challenge.
Teen Challenge is a successful outreach and drug rehabilitation programme that helps people aged between 18-40 years.
The charity has been working internationally for half a century to bring hope to hurting disadvantaged people, young and old.
As well as receiving food during April, Curves are offering women the opportunity to join for free between Monday, April 18 and Saturday, April 30.
Curves is a fun, 30 minute, workout for women with with a team of trainers that offer support and motivation. A 30 minute circuit workout works every major muscle group, working two muscles at any one time, which can burn up to 500 calories.
