A local postie from Kemnay has presented cheques to two local causes after hosting a Charity Darts Exhibition.

Graham Watson handed over the donations, which came to a total of £2,200, on Monday, August 15.

The donations were presented to Bob Ingram from the Kemnay Defibrillator Fund and Noelani Elrick on behalf of Gordon Dementia Services.

Graham organised the Charity Darts Exhibition along with Sandy and it was held at the Kemnay Bowling Club on Saturday, July 23, with Scottish Darts Captain Ross Montgomery in attendance.

The final total was boosted by a friend of Graham’s, Dave Mathew from Aberdeen, who agreed to have his chest waxed with Clare Coutts of Couture Beauty agreeing to do the waxing.

Graham is in the process of organising another two Charity Darts Exhibitions with Ross.

The first will be held in the Burnett Arms Hotel Kemnay on Friday, October 21 and then on Saturday, October 22 at the Mecca Bingo hall in Berryden, Aberdeen.

More details about these Charity Darts Exhibitions will be available in the Inverurie Herald nearer the time.
