Local children’s charity, Befriend a Child, has announced details of the next popular Variety Special being held on Saturday, September 26, in Inverurie Town Hall.
Topping the bill will be musical theatre and recording artiste Keith Jack, making a welcome return to Variety Special by popular demand following his successful appearance in Inverurie two years ago. Also taking part, is this year’s finalist of “Britain’s Got Talent,” comedy impressionist, Danny Posthill.
Joining them on the show will be a strong line-up of locally based talent, including the North East’s very own star performer, Mitzy Wilson, Celtacad and the Inverurie Academy Choir, the Westend Dance Studio from Aberdeen, vocal and guitar duo from Balmedie, Enter Alaska and harp and ukulele duo from Pitmedden, Synchronicity.
Fundraiser at Befriend a Child, Michael Jamieson, said, “Having organised the Variety Special for nearly 20 years, I am delighted to have recently joined the team at Befriend a Child and that this worthy cause will now benefit from these performances.
“As usual, we have the cream of North-east talent and headlining singing sensation that is Keith Jack. A great night’s entertainment is guaranteed, so please book early to avoid disappointment. For the first time an on-line facility is available to book seats but you can always get in touch directly if you prefer.” To book tickets, please contact Michael on 07739 526531 or you can book online at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/date/188864 (booking fee applicable)
