A North-east charity are encouraging families to attend an action packed fun day while their landmark walk takes place.
CLAN Cancer Support will hold the family day in Aberdeen’s Westburn Park on Sunday, September 21 from 10am to 4.30pm.
The event has been organised in conjunction with the hundreds of people who will participate in the CLAN landmark walk.
Featuring a 13 mile and 7.8mile route, walkers will be able to experience many prominent spots and landmarks throughout the city.
CLAN fundraising manager Susan Crighton said: “The family fun day is open to absolutely everyone, you don’t need to be taking part in our landmark walk to attend. Visitors will also be in the perfect place to cheer on walkers, as the event starts and finishes at Westburn Park.”
