Fly Cup has been nominated for the Co-op Community fund, whereby shoppers with a Co-op membership card can nominate a charity to receive a percentage of the amount they spend to a community group of their choice.
This year Fly Cup Catering have so far been allocated just over £600 from customer donations.
To help promote the membership campaign both managers of the two stores in Inverurie (Burghmuir Road and North Street) invited Fly Cup to come in store and sell a range of Fly Cup products and tell the public about the Charity and the partnership between the two organisations.
Fly Cup Catering chief executive, Denise Belshaw, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with Co-op, both of the managers are very keen to work with us to promote the Community Fund and we are equally thrilled to be at the heart of these two community stores.
“The feedback from the customers within the stores has been excellent, with the teams reporting positive and supporting feedback from both customers and staff.”
