An Inverurie business owner has been left with a bill for thousands of pounds worth of damage after vandals struck at the company’s town centre premises.
Lorna Milton, director of award-winning salon Élan Hair Design, discovered damage to the firm’s solar-thermal panels at the company’s West High Street premises last Tuesday (March 18).
Two of the three roof-fixed panels had been smashed. It is estimated that the cost of this damage could be in the region of £3,000.
In a separate incident, the power to the company’s air conditioning/heating system and air source heat pump was externally switched off. It is believed this took place over the previous weekend.
Lorna Milton praised the Police Scotland saying that they had been “extremely helpful”.
