Police appeal after items stolen from house

Police Scotland is appealing for information after electrical items and jewellery valued at a mid five-figure sum of money were stolen from a property in the Blairdaff area of Inverurie.

The theft is understood to have happened between Sunday 4 and Friday 9 February.

Items taken include watches and jewellery including rings as well as personal items.

Detective Constable Connor McKeen said: "We would ask that anyone who was in the area over the dates given and saw anything unusual or suspicious gets in touch with us.

"Theft by housebreaking is one of the most harrowing crimes and extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible.

"We would ask anyone with information or who is offered items for sale and they are unsure as to where they have come from gets in touch with police on 101 using reference number CF0032170218 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to remain anonymous."
