Police Scotland is appealing for information after a break-in that occurred at the Co-op, Station Road, Kemnay, on Sunday, February 14.

The store was broken into about 11pm and items worth a four figure sum were stolen.

Police are looking to trace a man who was seen in the area at the time.

He is described as being average build and aged in his early twenties.

He was wearing a black jacket with the hood up, and a grey woollen hat with a white band round the rim.

Sergeant Craig Johnstone said: “This is a busy residential area and it is possible someone may have seen the man in the area before or after the crime was committed.

“It is suspected that a silver coloured car, similar to an A3 Audi, may have also been used and we would ask anyone who may have seen this vehicle to contact us.

“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
