POLICE have urged residents to be vigilant in securing their property following a spate of thefts and attempted thefts from properties in the Monymusk area.
A number of thefts occurred in the Monymusk area between 7pm on Thursday, November 14, and 7.45am on Friday, November 15.
As a result, goods valued at a mid four-figure sum of money were stolen, including tools and clothing.
Inspector Inness Coull, of Marr Community Policing Team, urged residents to be vigilant and to take care not to leave any items on open display.
He said: “We would urge anybody with any information regarding the thefts or who saw anything suspicious in the area to get in touch with us.”
