Pets AT HOME will be holding a series of free pet workshops for children throughout the Easter school holidays to celebrate National Pet Month.
National Pet Month aims to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership and the workshops, starting at 3pm every day, have been designed to educate and inform as well as entertain children, giving them knowledge of how to care for different types of pets.
Store Manager, Neil Jack commented: “Our small animal pet workshops are something fun and interesting for children to take part in over the Easter holidays.
“At Pets at Home we are passionate about pets and their welfare is our top priority, which is why we are working with National Pet Month to educate children about responsible pet ownership. We want to pass on our pet care expertise to as many pet owners and future owners as possible, to ensure that pets live happy, healthy lives.”
Children can also take part in the store’s regular ‘Picnic Time’ sessions where they can watch the pets being fed their healthy, afternoon snacks and learn all about their feeding habits.
