The Ellon Castle Gardens will open its gates to welcome members of the public to its open day which takes place next weekend.
The Gardens will host their open day on Saturday, September 12, starting at 10am and running until 3.30pm.
Visitors will be shown around the Gardens in accompanied tours which will give information on the history of the Gardens as well as plans for future restoration.
Tours will run every half hour from 10am.
This is the first time the Gardens will be open to the public since it was taken over by the Ellon Castle Gardens Trust earlier this year.
For those wishing to visit the Gardens booking is highly recommended.
To book a place leave your name and number with Factor Julie Lorimer by calling or texting her on 07495 675 757, emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org or by contacting Julie through the Ellon Castle Gardens Facebook page.
There is limited parking available at the Gardens so parking in the town centre is also recommended.
However, the gate on Castle Terrace will not be open for the event.
