The first of two Run Garioch Running Clinics will be held at the Garioch Sports Centre next Wednesday, January 28, at 7.30pm.
This informal Clinic, designed to help all levels of runner maximise their performance, will be hosted by local athletics legends Fraser Clyne, Mel Edwards MBE and Myles Edwards, who will answer questions from the audience on all aspects of running.
Race Director Eric Simpson said: “We’re absolutely delighted that Fraser, Mel and Myles will be returning to Inverurie to help our runners get ready for Run Garioch 2015. The feedback we had on last year’s Clinics was really positive, and so many runners told me afterwards how inspired they were by our experts.”
Race retail partners Run4it will again be on hand to perform gait analysis and display the latest accessories from 7.15pm.
All runners are welcome to attend, regardless of experience, and whether or not they plan on taking part in Run Garioch 2015.
The second and final Clinic will be held on Wednesday, 4 March. This year’s Clinics are timed to coincide with the third and eighth weeks of the ‘10 Weeks to Run Garioch’ Training Programme to help runners at both the start and end of their training.
