Two Inverurie friends held a Bingo Night at the Ashvale recently in aid of their latest challenge for charity Charlie House.
A full house of 64 friends and family came along and £1,000 was raised.
Gemma Simpson and her friend Kylie Gordon will be taking part in ‘Ride the North’, a 180 mile cycle starting in Rhynie.
Around 900 riders are expected to take part in the ride that will kick-off on Saturday, August 27.
The duo have previously taken part in the Edinburgh Marathon for the charity, while Gemma took on 30 different challenges the previous year for her 30th birthday year, raising money for Charlie House and CLAN.
The friends have set a fundraising target of £600 and are putting in a lot of hours and miles training.
Gemma said: “Charlie House is a charity which has a special place in our hearts, everyday we become aware of how many children are affected by a life-shortening condition and how difficult life is for them and their families.”
