THE National Trust for Scotland’s Castle Fraser is a property with a long history. As Hallowe’en draws near, the conservation charity has unveiled stories of its ghosts.
The historic castle, with long links to the Fraser family, is reportedly haunted and was even the setting for an episode of Living TV’s ‘Most Haunted’.
Over the Hallowe’en weekend, staff and volunteers are inviting visitors to come along for some spooky fun. On Saturday October 29 and Sunday October 30 11am until 4pm, there will be a whole range of Hallowe’en-themed events underway including a Hallowe’en Quiz, face-painting and you can even join a band of ghostly smugglers.
Tickets cost £5 for adults £3 for children and concessions and £15 for a family. Advance booking is recommended – book online at www.nts.org.uk/Events/Ticket-Date/1549/
