An Aberdeenshire lingerie boutique will be holding its own fundraiser for charity this evening.
Inverurie store, De-Zire, is holding the event for one dedicated customer who has cancer.
Tonight, a ‘Cancer is Pants’ party will be held for 26-year-old Leighanne Easton, who was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Boutique owner, Susan Evans, has partnered up with restaurant, The Courtyard and bar and 10 Dollar Shake, who will provide canapés and drinks. All of the money raised from the evening will be donated to Leighanne and her family.
Leighanne, who stays in Premnay, found out she had a tumour in July of this year, and then made a bucket list of things she would like to do before she becomes too ill.
After a few visits to the shop, Leighanne and Susan became good friends.
Boutique owner Ms Evans, said: “Since meeting Leighanne, we have become close friends and after hearing about her illness I felt compelled to try and raise money for her and her family.
Leighanne Easton, said: “Susan is a wonderful and caring person and since walking into the shop she has been a fantastic friend to myself and my family.
“I would like to thank Susan and everyone else for all their support and effort for organising this event, which I am really looking forward too.”
The evening kicks off from 6pm, with tickets costing £20, including food and drinks. Tickets can be bought direct for De-Zire on 01467 670835.
