Following last year’s exhibition honouring the 100th anniversary of World War One ‘The Great War – life in spite of it’, Insch Connection Museum will venture into a completely different field this year.
“Wild about Insch” marks the beginning of a new series of annual exhibitions. These aim to engage all age groups and are especially designed to warmly welcome newcomers to the area and introduce them to a wide range of interesting facts about their new home. Wild about Insch is all about the natural history and geology of our area. But it’s not going to be boring. The kids will love the hands on exhibits and the colourful butterfly display. Their will be a host of interesting facts, including the 19th century a weaver from Auchleven who went on to become a well known botanist?
Also, for the first time in the museum’s 18year history we will have a nature path as a part of the exhibition, just a minute’s walk from the museum. Wild about Insch at the Insch Connection Museum will run from Wednesday, April 1 until Wednesday, October 28.
