inSPIRED Soap has moved into the former Minto’s premises in Inverurie’s Market Place.
The new workshops will allow the group to create additional products to add to their existing range of toiletry products, and help the business to expand.
The group already make soaps and hand creams, wedding favours and corporate gift soaps with personalised packaging for every occasion, and they are very excited about adding an organic range which has been made possible with the generous grant they received recently from The Acorn Centre.
Inspired Soap produce a wide variety of soaps and gifts that are sold locally at shows, fairs, and wedding exhibitions as well as from their base in Inverurie. Since the launch in April, 2010, the products have become increasingly popular throughout the North-east.
Each vibrant and colourful product in the range carries a label designed by a member of the team, as well as a personal thank you letter with information about the service and the effect that it has had on individuals’ lives. Inspired Soap Team Leader, Steve McMinn spoke about the new premises: “The team and I are very excited that we are at last in our fantastic new premises in Inverurie. The new offices are spacious, contemporary and ideally located in the town centre to allow us to develop our already strong product range, artwork, labels and overall quality of our output as well as connecting more closely with the local community.
”Our limited edition Emmerdale soap is under development, complete with painting and autograph of Chris Chittell (Eric Pollard) from the show on the label. These will be on sale in the week before Inspire’s Grampian Country Fair event on June 9, and also at the event itself. Eric chose the soap himself on a recent visit so get your orders in now as we are only going to make 180 of these souvenir soaps.”
