The town centre McLeish store, owned by Graham’s Retail, took the title while the nearby G&A Corner Shop and also the Buywell Keystore in Glasgow’s Bridgeton were the Highly Commended finalists. The McLeish shop was also Highly Commended in the Confectionery Retailer of the Year category.

Commenting on the Award Scott Graham of McLeish said, “We as a team are delighted to win this award on behalf of Inverurie. Lottery is an important category to us but it is down to our local customers who play the lottery on a weekly basis in the store and the knowledge of the store team that has helped us win this award.

“In the last 12 months the store has generated over £47,000 goes to support local charities and good causes. We would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the past years.”
