Mr GcGinley has clocked up 30 years of loyal service to Messrs JM Gilbert who farm at Womblehill. Calum claims that he remembers coming to Womblehill for his interview with the late Jim Gilbert “just like it was yesterday”, and can hardly believe where the years have gone.

The award was handed over at a dinner with his work colleagues, and their partners.

Kevin Gilbert said: “Throughout this time Calum has been a very skilled tractorman, but he has also been extremely good at maintaining and fixing machinery and is highly valued at Womblehill.”
