Vet, Scott Young from Donview Vets will also be on hand to offer advice to pet owners.

Tickets cost £3.50 for adults and £1.00 for children under 16, including refreshments, and are available from Pets at Home, Inverurie. All proceeds from ticket and raffle sales will be donated to Support Adoption For Pets, the charity established by Pets at Home.

Store colleague Katherine De Stefano said: “We’ve organised this event to highlight the importance of looking after pets before and during this fireworks season, as pets can become stressed and fearful when fireworks are lit. Nervous dogs and cats react in different ways and need different kinds of support to keep them feeling calm and happy.
