Two trainees at an Inverurie catering company will be reminded of their Granda as they go about their working day thanks to a donation from their family.
Kirsty and Michael of Fly Cup Catering miss their Granda Laird but will be reminded of him after new tables were purchased in his memory following a collection at his funeral.
Denise Belshaw, business manager at Fly Cup, said: “We were so sorry to hear about Granda Laird who was a regular customer in the Fly Cup Coffee shop.
“We purchased small plaques to put on the tables, so Granda is remembered by Kirsty and Michael.
“I know he was very proud of them both and how well they do here, I think he would be happy with the way we have spent the money.”
