Residents of Inverurie are being advised of road closures taking effect for Run Garioch later this month.
The shutting of some routes is aimed at keeping runners safe on Sunday, March 20, and will be enforced by Police Scotland.
There will be complete road closures on:

Residents living in the town’s Alton Farm Road will have no access on to C117 between 11am and 12.30pm (unless for emergencies) and after 12.30pm may only turn right towards Polinar Dam.
The C117 into Inverurie via Blackhall Road will re-open at 2pm.
There will also be temporary road closures in place on:
Blackhall Road between the A96 and Nether Davah Way between 11.15 and 12.15pm with diversions for access to and from the A96 via the Port Elphinstone and Brandsbutt junctions; Nether Davah Way and Upperboat Road between 11.15am and 12.15pm.
Speaking on behalf of the Run Garioch 2016 Race Committee, race director Eric Simpson said: “Run Garioch 2016 will be the biggest and best ever.
“With one entirely new route and new finishes for all the adult races, the safety of all our runners is our number one priority.
“We are grateful to both Police Scotland and Aberdeenshire Council for their support to and our local residents for their patience with these road closures.”
