Police inquiries are continuing into the “unexplained” death of a man in Monymusk.
The 64-year-old, who has not been named, was found in the St Andrews area around 3pm on Friday.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called in relation to the sudden death of a 64-year-old man in St Andrews. Monymusk.
“Whilst inquiries are ongoing at present, the death is being treated as unexplained and is not believed to be suspicious.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
