WRI learn about first responders

Elsie Murray, President welcomed members to the June meeting with a special welcome to David Gauld, Coordinator, and June Morrison, qualified nurse from Scottish Ambulance Service, First Response Unit (Inverurie & District).

They gave a very interesting talk on the vital work they do as first on the scene at accidents or emergencies before an ambulance arrives.

They also showed and demonstrated the equipment they carry.

Members had lots of questions for them and reassured them how competent they are in a crisis.
