Colony amatures beat Aberdeen University

Colony Park Amateurs ran out 2-0 winners at Aberdeen University Colts with goals from Jake STEWART and Kyle WILSON.

The Colony Colts 16s came out on top in the local derby with Kemnay however the first half didn’t see any goals but the Colts continued to dominate the match after a goal less first half and got their rewards when Luke MACKIE scored from the corner of the box with his shot going over the keeper and in off the far post.

It was then top scorer Jamie REID’s turn to get on the score sheet who sneaked his corner in at the near post .

The Colts and won a free kick on the edge of the box where substitute Murray LIDDELL superbly flighted the ball into the top corner.

Due to postponed fixtures the two sides met a few days later and Kemnay go their revenge with a 3-1 victory with Connor MacLEOD scoring.

Colony Park Under 15s defeated Kemnay on Sunday with a goal from Murray GRANT and a brace from Josh DUNCAN for a 3-1 win.

Colony Park 14s faced bogey side Banchory Pumas at a sunny Colony Park and they came out of an even first half with a a 1-0 lead courtesy of a goal from Finlay MOULTRIE.

The Second half saw Colony dominate and it was little surprise when Finlay MURDOCH latched on to a loose ball in the box and slammed home an unstoppable shot.

The Banchory defence struggled to clear their lines and a superb right foot strike from Jay HALLIDAY looped over the visiting keeper to put Colony out of sight and end with a 3-0 victory .

Colony Park 13s beat Donside with a brace from Rhys HALL and a goal from Calum THOMSON giving them a 3-1 win.
