COLONY Locos took on B League leaders Ferryhill at the Garioch Sports Centre in the Sunnybank Shield.

Keiran LAWRENCE opened the scoring, before goals from WOOD and DUIGUID made it three at half-time. Each team shared a goal in the second half with REID scoring for Colony to make the final score 4-1 Colony.

Colony Colts U19s had their match against Westdyke called off minutes prior to kick-off, while Colony Park U17s managed a half against Deveronvale before there match was also called off.

Colony Colts 17s faced East End, and, having taken the lead gifted the opposition two goals, before conceding again in the second half to go down 3-1

Colony Park U16s were up against Peterhead and lost two goals in blustery conditions in the first half. A stirring second half come back saw GREEN and MACKIE pull the game back, and it ended 2-2, with both keepers having outstanding games.

Colony Park U15s played against the wind first-half against Lewis United.

DAWSON opened the scoring for Colony before WATSON added a second. Lewis pulled a goal back, but RIACH added a third for Colony who ran out 3-1 winners.

Colony Park U14s travelled to Banchory for the Eddie Mannal Cup third round tie.

SMITH and BEATTIE were on the mark for Colony before Banchory scored from the penalty spot. BEATTIE scored his second and BUXTON added a fourth before Banchory responded, but BEATTIE grabbed his hat-trick and Colony recorded an impressive 5-2 win.

The U14 Colts hosted Newtonhill at the Garioch Sports Centre and went down 6-1 with BEVERLEY scoring in the second half.

Colony Park U13s travelled the short distance to Kemnay in the quarter finals of the Colony Park Cup.

STRACHAN put Colony ahead before FRASER added a second. STRACHAN made it 3-0, but Kemnay weren’t giving up and scored twice before GRANT and LYNAS netted for Colony before half-time.

Into the second half and Kemnay pulled another goal back before STRACHAN scored his twelfth goal in four games for Colony. The match ended 6-2 to Colony and they face Westdyke in the cup semi-final.
