Colony Locos U19s finally lost their season long unbeaten record against Stonehaven.

Struggling to come to terms with a bumpy surface they failed to take their chances and found themselves two down in the second half. Greg WOOD pulled a goal back but late on but that was the final score but they stay top of the table with games in hand.

Colony Colts 19s had a fruitless visit to Westdyke going down 7-1 with Luke MUNRO getting the consolation goal.

Colony Park 17s hosted table toppers Culter having already lost three times to the visitors and after losing an early goal struggled to make any impact although should have had a penalty when Gordon was pushed in the box. In the second half Colony matched Culter but three errors lead to three goals and a 4-0 defeat.

Colony Colts 17s also faced a Culter side, Culter Deeside for the second time on the road this season but couldn’t repeat their earlier win with a solitary goal from Stuart ALEXANDER in a 4-1 defeat.

It was a tough task for Colony Park 16s who faced a Lewis United side with 11 wins from 11 and running away with the league. They were 4-0 down at the interval and lost a further four second half goals with the only bright spot arising when Ally BLAIR chased down a poor clearance and scored from eight yards.

Colony Park U15s faced Westdyke for the third time this season having won the previous two fixtures. Colony grabbed the winner in the second half when Cammy Smith’s superbly judged free kick saw was Jordan COOPER steer a header home for a well deserved win.

Colony Park U14s finally managed to get their season going again with their first game since before Christmas, a home game against league leaders Fraserburgh in very blustery conditions.

BEATTIE (2) and SMITH gave Colony a 3-0 half time lead, and in the second half BEATTIE grabbed his hat-trick before SMITH capped a impressive 5-0 win.

The U14 Colts were away to Kemnay on a windy Sunday morning, the home team starting sharpest and were quickly two goals up. Colts battled back into the game and trailed 4-2 at the break, Colts goals coming through Euan CLARK and Jamie REID. When REID added his second just after the restart to make it 4-3 it looked as though the tide might turn but Kemnay ramped up the pressure, going on to score another five without reply.

It was Westdyke visiting Garioch Sports centre to face Colony Park U13s with Daniel STRACHAN opening the scoring on 15 minutes with a great shot from a difficult angle. The visitors equalised seven minutes later and two early second half goals with the wind behind them were enough to see off the home side.

Colony Colts 13s went to play Insch at Rothienorman expecting a tough match against the side with 100per cent league record and found themselves down within five minutes and conceding eleven goals first half and a further five second half but never gave up against their local rivals.
