Colony Colts U19s were back in action after a long lay off and travelled to Ellon Meadows going down 3-2 in a close encounter.

Colony Park U17s were away against Formartine on league duty. The match couldn’t have started better for Colony since they took the lead inside two minutes, Drew Henderson floated in a cross to the back of the box and Ben DUNCAN was there to calmly slot the ball past the keeper.

If Colony though that this match was going to be easy they got a rude awakening 3 minutes later when a Formartine free kick from 25 yards went through the box without anyone touching it and ended up in the back of the net.

Colony couldn’t seem to take command of this game and struggled to make any impact until the final 15 minutes of the first half. Craig MACKIE scored twice within minutes, and Drew MARSHALL worked a neat 1-2 with Duncan and finished into the corner, to make it 4-1 at half time. Colony Park should have had enough to finish this game in the second half, but lacked composure and were unable to add to their goal tally.

Colony Park U16s were at Huntly in the second round of the Castles Cup and with a good performance from the boys, with plenty of possession they created a load of chances running out 7-0 winners but could easily have won by a larger margin. Scorers were Thomas RIACH (2), Finlay WATSON (2), Morgan COOK, Jordan COOPER and Stewart MOIR.

Colony Park U15s were at home to bottom side Glentanar in an A league fixture and didn’t take long to break down the opposition. In a very one sided match it was a virtuoso performance from Adam SMITH, recently called into the SYFA Scotland squad, rattling in seven goals in a 10-1 scoreline. Lewis BEATTIE , Stuart SIMMOND and Euan DALMON were the other scorers in a match where Colony missed as many chances as they scored and the visiting keepers both had some excellent saves

Colony Park U14’s travelled to Deveronvale for a ADJFA B league match.

Deveronvale took the lead before Daniel STRACHAN equalised from the penalty spot.

Deveronvale started well in the second half and took the lead not long after the restart.

A cross from Middler found Cameron FRASER unmarked in the middle and he played a first time shot high into the net for the equaliser.

In the final seconds Deveronvale had the ball in the net from a free kick but the referee had already blown for an infringement in the box by the home team.

Colony Park U13s won 7-2 against Fraserburgh Link Up at Davidson Park in the Colony Park Cup.

Colony Colts U13s were away to Portlethen and saw out a goal less first half thanks to a couple of fine saves from Fraser Wiseman. Colony took the lead in the second half through an Evan ORR thunderbolt. Portlethen came back at the visitors and eventually equalised and then went ahead and looked to have sealed the win until, with two minutes remaining Paul DAVIDSON scored with a header from a corner to make it 2-2.
