Inverurie Loco Works FC announced on Tuesday evening that Co-Manager Kenny Coull had resigned from his post at the club.
A statement from locos read: “It is with disappointment that Inverurie Loco Works Football Club has accepted Kenny Coull’s resignation last night as Co-manager.
“As usual Kenny handled the situation with the integrity and dignity you would expect from a person who started as a raw seventeen year old with Locos and who developed into one of the best players in the Highland League with Cove Rangers, Locos and a season at Formartine United.
“Kenny believes that the club has talented players who, for whatever reason, have failed to gel this season, and he feels that moving on will allow someone else to perhaps ignite the team.
“He remains a staunch Locos person and we can only compliment him in the way that he has carried out his job and understand the reasons for resigning.
“The Football Club would like to warmly thank Kenny for his vast contribution and we look forward to seeing him back at Harlaw Park.
“A true football man who will be a miss to Locos and the game.”
Scott Buchan remains as Manager and additions to the coaching staff will be sourced to bolster managerial side.
