Formartine United crashed out of the Evening Express Aberdeenshire Cup when they lost 3-0 at home to Buckie Thistle on Wednesday night.
The holders were a pale shadow of the side which held champions Brora Rangers to a draw on Saturday.
It was an abject performance in which United were unable to sustain any significant periods of pressure against a well-organised, but by no means outstanding side.
Manager Steve Paterson, pictured with the trophy, was bitterly disappointed by the display, particularly after the performance at Brora, but admitted that Buckie deserved the win on the night.
The Jags took the lead just before half-time when Kleczkowski nipped in between Hay and keeper Shearer to send the ball into the far corner.
United tried to get back into the game but suffered another setback in the 61st minute. Low curled a free kick around the wall and keeper into the top corner.
The tie was over three minutes later when Buckie broke quickly and Angus drilled the ball past Shearer from 15 yards.
Thistle will now meet Fraserburgh in the final on October 18.
