COLONY Park Juniors continued their rich vein of form on Saturday, (March 10) against their Morayshire opponents Fochabers FC.
After 7 minutes Dorrat was clean through but was adjudged to be offside. This was the first of many offside decisions given against the home side, some debatable, but clearly indicated the intent of the visitors.
Colony continued to press the Fochabers defence and a corner taken by Strachan, was met by BONARIUS at the near post and his glancing header beat Flyn in the visitors goal.
With 15 minutes gone a through ball from Fochaber’s Bremner found Stewart in space but his shot was easily saved by Duguid.
On the 25 minute mark a move up the left hand side found Harold in space. Duguid came out to meet him but the clash with Harold resulted in a yellow card being shown to Duguid and a spot-kick to Fochabers. Harold stepped up to take the penalty and promptly slotted the ball into the right hand corner.
Seven minutes into the second half and a Bonarius snap shot from long range was well saved by the Fochabers goalkeeper. A great move up the right by Colony led to the second goal when a shot from McIntosh was only parried by Flyn and DORRAT met the rebound to make it 2-1 to Colony.
McTavish replaced Dorrat in the Colony attack and a minute later STRACHAN added goal number three for Colony after good work up the middle of the park by Maitland.
Colony added a forth following good work by Strachan up the left side and his cross was met by MCINTOSH who finished in style.
Seven minutes from time Colony added a fifth goal through STRACHAN and with a minute to go, a corner on the left hand side was met at the near post by SMITH who made no mistake with a glancing header, making the final score Colony Park 6, Fochabers 1.

BOTH Colony Park U19s and Ellon Meadows took a while to settle into their match on Saturday, (March 10), with Colony looking a little flat footed and sluggish.
A quick throw in by Colony was followed by a neat interchange between Addison and Reid which sent Reid through but his lob over the keeper came back off the post.
With half time looming a throw in from the left found Reid who knocked the ball to Addison and his shot was deflected for a corner. Lawrie sent in the corner which SOUTER headed into the net despite the efforts of the Ellon keeper, to send Colony Park in at half-time one-nil up.
In the second half Morgan Addison free on the left and his cross found CHRISTIE unmarked in the box who drilled the ball home to make it two-nil.
Colony were now winning most of the possession but without creating a real chances but their pressure paid dividends when a cross from Lawrie was headed into his own net by an unfortunate Ellon defender.
Now three up the Colony defence switched off when a Ellon goal kick allowed the Ellon number 17 to break through and dispatched a smart shot high into the Colony net.
Colony settled again and when Munro sent MacDonald through one on one with the keeper the keeper did well to touch the shot round the post. From the corner CHRISTIE tapped the ball into the net.
A quick attack saw Lawrie play the ball into the box and ADDISON stuck a smart shot into the net.
Colony pressure continued and when Angus Munro fed the ball to Euan Lawrie and his cross was deflected into their own net by the hapless Ellon defence for the second time in the match to make the final score Ellon Meadows 1, Colony Park 6.
