Colony Park Juniors fought back with a late equaliser for the second match in a row to deny Glentanar victory and earn a 3-3 draw in their PMAC Group Div 1 East match.

With 20 minutes gone Sim brought off a brilliant save diving full length and turning the ball round his left post. From the resulting corner Glentanar almost scored with ball bobbling about in the six yard area but Sim was able to grab the ball. In 26 minutes Glentanar took the lead from a corner with Sam DOWNIE scoring from close range.

Colony Park fought back with an equaliser a couple of minutes later from Kevin BONARIUS who scored from very close range. In 31 minutes Adam Maitland broke free of the Glentanar defence and hit a great shot which cannoned against the post. However Park did take the lead from a contender for goal of the season when Craig ROSS hit a dipping, swerving shot from 30 yards past Dey the
Glentanar keeper.

In 43 minutes as the Colony Park defence backed off Gary KELMAN found room to hit a great strike into the corner of the Colony Park net to level the score at 2-2 at the interval.

The opening ten minutes of the second half was a stalemate with neither side making an impression on goal. In 61 minutes Glentanar took the lead when Munro of Glentanar was given enough space down the right to find himself one on one with Sim who made a tremendous save from his shot but the Colony defence were beaten to the rebound by Gary SMART who hit the ball into the net from close range.

In 84 minutes Bonarius had a goal denied when his shot hit the post and Ross had a shot saved a minute later. Colony Park were now pressing hard for another goal with attempts by Bonarius and Ness. With the match into the fifth minute of time added Ness made a run down the left and crossed into the box for Greg DORRAT to score with a well taken header and draw the teams level at 3-3 which was probably a fair result on the day.
