Local lads make the grade with Aberdeen FC

Two local boys Sebastian Ross and Sam Robertson have graduated from Aberdeen Football Clubs Academy to be awarded their first full time professional contracts .

Seb and Sam are part of Paul Sheerins under 20 squad that supplemented last years successful first team.

Seb , from Kintore, has been with the Dons from the age of ten and progressed through their Academy system.

The central midfielder has followed in his fathers footsteps, (local baker Cammy Ross), by making a number of appearances for Scotland and is just back from a successful win against Serbia.

Sam is a product of Colony Park FC having played there for number of seasons and another one to come through the academy this season.

Sam and Seb both made recent appearances for the Dons under20s in their pre-season friendly against Inverurie Loco Works.
