The Bill Slater Team Championships held in the Europa Gymnastics Centre is the second tier of team championships in Britain, as any gymnast who has qualified to compete in the British Individual Championships can not take part.

The Garioch Glitter Girls who took part were: Beth McCaw (15) from Kingswells, Megan Wright (15) Stonehaven, Lauryn Grant (14) from Fraserburgh, Joanne Lowe (14) from Strichen, Izzy Tolometti (14) from Alford and Erin Fraser (11) from Inverurie. They travelled with their Club coaches, Janine Robertson and Emily Bull.

The girls competed very well, remaining calm and professional throughout. They achieved a fabulous 10th place finish – the best team from Scotland as well as being the highest the club have ever placed in Britain. To add to the success Beth McCaw achieved a top eight finish on Vault whilst Izzy Tolometti placed third on Floor.

A fabulous result for the girls, all at the club are very proud of their triumph – thank you to all the parents for their help with organising and who travelled with us to support the Glitter
