Pro-wrestling returned to Ellon in style with a block-busting night at the Victoria Hall.
The grapplers from North-east group WrestleZone were in fine form at the recent annual event.

A packed crowd lapped up the family-friendly fun provided by some of Scotland’s top wrestlers.
The night was capped off with a great main event as “Red-Haired Warrior” Scotty Swift retained the Undisputed Championship in a tense affair against Fife’s Johnny Lions.
Swift, 34, said: “The bout against Johnny was tough. He has a lot of experience in the wrestling ring, but I think I just had that little bit extra heart to see me through.
“The Ellon crowd were fantastic in supporting me to victory. I’m sure they enjoyed the action as they made it a great atmosphere in one of my favourite venues.”
Elsewhere, there was a successful tag team title defence as the Hotshots defeated the Dogs of War, while there were wins for Mr P and Kaden Garrick.
In an epic encounter, Damien and Crusher Craib fought to a double disqualification after the referee lost control of the bout, but it was the “Creator of Carnage” who will claim to be the victor.
Finally, Alan Sterling returned with a victory over the masked Blue Thunder in the night’s other bout.
WrestleZone host Martyn Clunes said: “This was a great night for all our grapplers as the Ellon fans provided some great support.
“They were rewarded with some excellent in-ring action and an amazing main event between two of the best in Scotland.
“As always, we can’t wait to return to Ellon but throughout the summer, we will be appearing at a number of outdoor events and we hope to see some of our Ellon fans along the way.”
