Inverurie’s own swimming star Hannah Miley was in action over the weekend at the Scottish Gas National Shortcourse Championships held at Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh.
Once again Hannah chose a daunting schedule of races over three days, coming home with four national titles.
On Friday, she won the 200m IM in a time of 2:09.39, ahead of her former Garioch team-mate Emily Jones, who now swims for Edinburgh University.
Hannah also took the national title in the 200m Butterfly. Despite finishing fourth behind Jemma Lowe, Aimee Willmott and Elena Sheridan, Hannah was the first Scot home.
On Saturday, Hannah finished second in the 400m Freestyle behind Aimee Willmott, and also found time to finish sixth in the 200m backstroke, seventh in the 100m butterfly, and third in the 100m individual medley.
Sunday saw Hannah take gold and the national title in her favourite 400m IM in 4:3.75, second place in the 200m freestyle behind Rebecca Turner and was also runner-up in the 2000 breaststroke B final!
