Old favourites shine at Loch Insch

THE waters here at Loch Insch Fishery are fishing well, with old favourites like Buzzers and Bloodworms amongst various others taking their share.

Tom Johnston and Neil Summers from Aberdeen had a great day using Buzzers, Blobs and a WSW, to lure 14 and 12 respectfully. A. Robertson from Elgin released 10 using home tied black and red Buzzers, and M. Reid from Aberdeen released five, keeping two for just over 8lbs.

K. Morrice from Insch, released seven, all falling to various bloodworms, Bob Duncan from Inverurie, netted four, keeping a nice rainbow of 4lbs.

Alan Fraser from Whitehills, returned four, all taken on Diawl Bach variants, Andy Skene from Aberdeen, kept two nice fish for 4lbs, breaking in a new Wychwood rod and P. Hastings from Insch kept two for 4 1/2lbs.
