Delgatie conditions less-than-favourable

There was a continuance of the less-than-favourable fishing conditions although an improvement on the previous week at Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery recently.

The weather forecast suggested the few days up to Christmas should remain good with lower temperatures immediately past Christmas.

The best recorded catches fell to the following anglers:

C. Stephen, Fraserburgh (9 fish, blob); A. Murray, Gardenstown (6 fish, black cat’s whisker); A. Thomson, Buckie (7 fish, yellow dancer); B. Whyte, Fraserburgh (5 fish, blob).

Delgatie Castle Trout Fishery is a Troutmaster water and apart from Christmas Day and New Year’s Day will remain open during the festive period.
