THE Gordon Highlander pub in Inverurie will be celebrating the life and poetry of Robert Burns by hosting Burns’ Week from Monday, January 21, until Sunday, January 27 inclusive.
The pub in West High Street will be serving two meals to celebrate the occasion; haggis, neeps and tatties as well as a Highland burger (beef burger, haggis and whisky sauce, served with chips and onion rings)
The meals will cost £4.99 and £5.69, respectively, inclusive of a drink (from a selection of drinks, including a Scottish real ale and a choice of two malt whiskies.)
The real ale on offer is Caledonian Auld Lang Syne and the malt whiskies are; Talisker and Robert Burns.
Pub manager Steven Murphy said: “We are looking forward to celebrating Burns’ Week in style with a great choice of food and drink to mark the special occasion.”
