Aberdeen is looking forward to welcoming not one, not even two but three comedians as part of their national tours later this year.

James Acaster - Best International Show winner at this year’s New Zealand Comedy Festival - will perform at The Lemon Tree on Wednesday October 8 in his award-winning show ‘Recognised’.

Daniel Sloss brings his show ‘Really...?!’ to the Lemon Tree on Saturday, November 22, supported by Kai Humphries.

UK-based Canadian comedian Pete Johansson will perform his show ‘Several Jokes’ on Thursday, November 13.

James’s sellout show ‘Amongst Other Things’ earned five and four star reviews and led to nominations for the main Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award, with Prompt in 2012 and Lawnmower in 2013.

His television appearances include Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Russell Howard’s Good News and Dave’s One Night Stand to name just a few.

Daniel has enjoyed an incredibly successful year so far, selling over 10,000 tickets at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the fourth year in a row, made his American TV debut and secured a deal with a major Hollywood studio.

He began writing and performing stand-up when he was aged 16 and by the time he was 22 he had appeared on many shows including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Russell Howard’s Good News.

He has toured throughout USA, Europe and Australasia.

In 2012 he performed a solo season at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy festival and he has appeared at many other international comedy festivals.

Pete Johansson moved to the UK in 2008 quickly becoming a favourite with audiences across the country.

He has performed with the likes of Stephen Merchant, Stewart Lee, Simon Amstell, supported Reginal D Hunter on his 75-date UK tour and even closed for Jerry Seinfeld in the Comedy Store in 2011.
